KITCO Fiber Optics Grows Technical Leadership Through Internal Promotions

KITCO Fiber Optics™ is pleased to announce the selection of two of its own experts to key technical leadership positions as the company continues to build upon its position as the premier company supporting the U.S. Military’s harsh-environment connectivity requirements.

George Romans has been selected as the new East Coast Technical Services Manager. George has been a Senior Fiber Optics Technician for over 15 years and is known throughout the industry for his deck-plate leadership and pride in his work.  George brings a wealth of technical experience and will provide coaching, mentoring and leadership to the workforce that will extend KITCO’s superior customer support. As a Navy veteran, he is focused on supporting our warfighters’ mission through his dedication to excellence.

Josue Medina has been appointed to the role of Technical Services Project Manager. Medina joined KITCO in 2015 as a Field Technician following his time in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Aviation Airframes Technician. Most recently, he served as an Applications Engineer providing assessment, quoting, and building cable assemblies. He is currently pursuing a B.S. in Aeronautics and will oversee projects from estimation through execution. His experience from both his time as a Field Technician and Engineer will help lead the KITCO team to more innovative growth strategies and excellent service in support of our national security mission.
