Donald Stone brings over 35 years of invaluable experience in military fiber optic systems to his role as VP Technical Sales at KITCO Fiber Optics.
After a distinguished career in the US Navy, Donald transitioned to the private sector, where he played a key role in installing cutting-edge Sonar and combat systems on US Navy warships and submarines. His expertise in fiber optic networks has been instrumental in enhancing communication and technology capabilities in these critical defense systems.
Throughout his career, Donald has been deeply involved in the development and implementation of various Mil-Standards, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest level of quality and performance in military applications. His contributions to organizations such as ARINC and SAE AS-3 standards committees highlight his dedication to advancing industry standards and best practices. As the current AS-3 Vice Chair of the Fiber Optics and Applied Photonics Committee, Donald continues to drive innovation and excellence in the field of fiber optic technology.
